Contact Form Email

  • My contact form is not sending me emails when someone fills it out. I have used the “Check Email” tool to make sure my site can send emails.

    Any assistance as to what I have done wrong is greatly appreciated!!

    Hi @brokeassranchwear,

    Sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues sending out emails when using the contact form. What do you have set for the Email address and the Subject settings on the Form block?

    The block itself uses wp_mail function provided by WordPress. It does not generally require any configuration from a WordPress user and instead is generally handled by your web host. Do you have other plugins running on your site?

    What fields do you have assigned to your form? We’ve uncovered a bug that when multiple types of the same are added to a form, the form does not submit properly.

    @eherman24 previously wrote you to inform about a bug that was thought to have been identified. This bug has since been closed and we do not believe that you are affected by the behavior reported in https://github.com/godaddy/coblocks/issues/1021.

    Do you have the answers to the questions which I had originally asked?

    What do you have set for the Email address and the Subject settings on the Form block? Do you have other plugins running on your site?

    @paranoia1906 how do i configure the wp_mail for things such as “redirecting” to certain page after sending an email as well as “renaming” email name “Word Press <wordpress@mydomain>” when receiving it to my inbox?
