Autoptimize slowing page speed

quick & dirty response (have to leave office), but;

1. don’t tick “force JS in head”
2. use a CDN
3. use a CDN ??

I’ve just disabled force js in head, but same problema.

I’ll try to find information about CDN, but at the moment ,could you help me with this issue please?

This problem is slowing at least 3 seconds!

had a look at the HTML source and the Autoptimized JS is definitively deferred and GTmetrix does not mention that file any more, the “defer JS” score is not green as well, so that can be removed from your list ??

re. CDN; you typically sign up at e.g. keycdn.com or stackpath.com (which are paid for services) and take it from there (they will have documentation/ tools to help you out) ??

And what do I have to remove and how?

In the waterfall results still I can see the same results that slow de speed.

well, in GTmetrix you had;

Whereas now the autoptimized file is not mentioned any more;

Mark the “green” color the score and the fact that the autoptimized file indeed is not mentioned any more.

Regarding;

I’ve disabled “save the scripts and CSS unified as static files”

static is better in general, only go non-static if the static autoptimized CSS/ JS would be flagged as not compressed or not having good caching headers.

and regarding:

I can see the same results that slow de speed.

AO can aggregate, minify & defer your JS, but if you have a lot of JS (from theme & plugins) then you will still have a lot of JS with AO. removing JS is not something AO can do I’m afraid.

They take much time.

half of that time is “connecting”, due to the fact you’re on HTTP 1.1 instead of the much more efficient HTTP/2. ask your hoster about upgrading? ??

Well, the Autoptimized CSS can be loaded late(r) using the “inline & defer CSS”-option, see the AO FAQ for more info that.

I see… and what is “the block of above the fold CSS”. What must I to find?

no, you’ll have to use one of the 3rd party tools mentioned in the FAQ to generate that CSS for you.
