• Hey,
I have integrated CC avenue in my website [ redundant link removed ] and when I am doing any payment, after the payment completes the page is redirected to 404 not found.
Although the money is being debited and the email confirming the successful order from CC avenue is also coming.
I contacted CC Avenue team regarding this and they said that the redirected link which is present does not actually exist and it needs to be modified from the WordPress end.

    Kindly help me in this.

  • They probably need you to create a ‘success page’ for people to see after they complete a transaction.

The plugin then needs to be told where the page is if it didn’t specify the page name needed.

This probably is mentioned in their documentation somewhere but you can always ask for further clarification.

The CC Avenue team told me that this can be done from the WordPress team only as the plugin doesn’t have any such option .

Where should I look for this ?

Hopefully, the documentation names the ‘page’ to create or tells you where to add the name to its configuration.

You’ll just create a simple page that says something like ‘Thanks for your order’. If you can do so it would be good to include a link back to the rest of your website or a meta refresh back to where you wish them to go next. Of course, your header, footer, and menu(s) will probably be there unless you create a custom them page for that one.

So that’s Dashboard –> Pages and then ‘add a new page’.

You can get as fancy as you want with that by offering a secondary ‘back end’ deal or a coupon code… maybe a freebie of some sort. Special packaging… etc. Just keep in mind the deal is finished so you can’t add to the cart easily.

You also, don’t want your success page viewable within sitemaps and such and I’d add it to my ‘no index’ robots.txt rules.
