• First off, I know this has been answered multiple times. I searched for the answer both here and on the support forums. Unfortunately neither the answers there nor here explained it as if a two year old child were trying to build this website. I’m good at what I do, website development is not one of my strong suites, yet. If some kind soul would be willing to take me through a step by step process of getting these links to work correctly I would seriously appreciate it as I’ve been working to get this site up and running for over a week and keep running into roadblocks such as this.

Here is what I have already done:
    1) Created all the categories with matching titles to my images
    2) Created posts for each of these categories.
    3) When these did not succesfully begin linking I attempted to edit the header.php by; replacing the ?php bloginfo(‘url’); ?” line with my url, and alternatively putting my url where the ‘url’ is. Niether worked correctly. I also tried replacing it with https://www.buristudios.com/category/abstract. Again this did not work.

Could you please edit this line
“<li class=”bk1”>/?cat=1″>Category 1” after taking a quick peek at my site so you know what the link is “Buri Studios” and showing me the correct way to edit this piece of code.

Thank you so, so much for your help and for taking the time to read this. I feel like once this is complete I can make the final push towards the completion of my website (an exciting prospect indeed). Thank you also for the amazingly well created and free theme. I believe this will increase my hits a whole lot and am very grateful for it!

It looks as if I’ve linked Buri Studios incorrectly. Apologies,

This problem is still not solved in case the last post confused any readers. I’ve noticed that when I click on the header pictures they all go to cat1 cat2 cat3 just like they are supposed to. However when I click on the categories themselves they go to seemingly random cat numbers such as 9,4, and 10. I don’t know how to control that however. If I can fix that problem, my problem here should be solved. Any ideas?

Please help… This has really got me confused and I’m sure it’d be just a few easy steps for someone with experience…

This is all fixed in the newest version – the links are automatically made to the first 8 pages.
