Private Content for Registered Users on Public Pages/Posts?

    General inquiry regarding having public posts or pages, but having private content on those pages that only logged in users can see – think of it as bonus content for logged in users.

    All site visitors can see primary content. Only registered visitors can see private content on those same pages/posts.

    I’m assuming I’m in need of a plugin? If plugin, any recommendations?

    You can make some tests using the Private Content plugin in order to show a portion of the post only to registered users. But if you need more control, you can use other plugins, such as Members.

    Private Content is a small plugin, so you have to decide if it fits your needs. Private Content has been developed having in mind a precise goal: to show a small portion of text to specific groups or users. For this reason the plugin doesn’t have a user or groups management.
