    Hi,
Yesterday I received the following error “SpamFireWall is activated for your IP…”
I looked at your previous support on this and uninstalled and reinstalled the Clean Talk plugin. Things seemed better yesterday, but now again this morning I am getting the same error.
Please tell me how to fix this. I have people looking at the site because I’ve been featured in an article and I don’t want them to leave because of this error.
    Thank you,
    Marilyn

    Hello, @marilynutz.

The SpamFireWall option of the CleanTalk plugin blocks only well known spam IP addresses.

Thus your visitors were using either TOR browser, a VPN service of spam networks or were spammers. If you want to allow them to visit your website, disable SpamFireWall.

To disable the option, do this:
WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> disable “SpamFireWall” —> Save Changes.

    Did it help?

I am having a problem with my firewall. I don’t know where to create support ticket, can’t find a link anywhere. I hope this is the correct place.

I run a blog where people send me articles for publishing (https://www.centraldesermones.com). Some of my contributors are telling me that they can’t access their account because the firewall has identified them as spam. Can email addresses be whitelisted? Can’t seem to find that option anywhere. How do I fix this issue?

Thanks for reaching us. This question is about the CleanTalk service.

Any premium or non-plugin questions, as per forum rules, need to be asked at [email protected] or you could open the Ticket in a private ticket system: https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open

We look forward to answering your questions there.
