I am thinking about installing this plugin, but I have some questions that I can’t find on the feature page or FAQ page.

Can I enable front end editing of the table? Basically, allow anyone to add and alter a table?

Can I let other plugins or custom scripts to access and use the data stored on tables made using TablePress?

Can I set it so a table can have as many row as it is needed? Basically, can I set an infinite numbers of row and only display rows that contain actual data?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    1) No, sorry, TablePress does not have a frontend editing feature in any form.

    2) You would either have to use direct PHP code to access a table, or maybe use something like the TablePress Single Cell Shortcode Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/table-cell-shortcode/ to extract the value of a single cell and insert it e.g. into a post or page.

    3) I’m not sure what you mean here. It’s better here to make the table size equal to the amount of data in it. Of course, when you want to add rows or columns for more data, you can easily do that to existing tables as well.

    Regards,
    Tobias
