Website just showing a blank screen

    I upgraded to 2.8.4 manually and the website came back up with no problems. I then upgraded to latest version of Atahualpa 3.4.1 and still no problems. I made some changes to some pages and everything was fine. I went ahead and upgraded a couple of plugins, Akismet and WP Cycle, using automatic upgrade. Both gave me an error about not being able to update properly. After that is when the main site went down. Both did not show up in the list of plugins. The WP Cycle plugin still showed active on the side and i didn’t notice where Akismet was at. I did try deleting WP Cycle out of the plugins folder, couldn’t find Akismet. I reinstalled WP Cycle and Akismet but the site is still down. I’m out of ideas

    I found a reference about a blank website and one of the suggestions was changing the Theme. I originally changed to older version of same but still same problem. I went to the default theme and it came back. I had a few lines added to header.php and when I removed them the site came back up. It turns out the function call to one of the plugins wasn’t working so it killed the whole site
