I was interested in using this plugin, until I saw that it is a spyware.

Why do you need to collect our customers personal information? how does that contributes to the inner workings of this plugin? It just does not make any sense.

I was surprised when I saw it was totally free, now it all makes sense. I rarely comment on things, but when it comes to privacy and collection of unjustified data it just grinds my gears. I don’t understand why people use or allow such plugins in the community.

    Hi @jojojijijojo ,

Thank you very much for reaching out to us.

About your concern, kindly let me explain that our plugin shows pop-ups of past purchases on your storefront. The pop-ups may display the customer’s purchased items, their city or country, first or last name, and when the order was placed (you can customize in the app). Therefore, we don’t and won’t need access or gather information about exact location, phone number, payment method, or anything that doesn’t relate to the app function.

Although this free plugin has certain users at the moment, we don’t intend to make it paid one because many users are new to selling online and have a limited budget. We have paid apps to support this free one, too.

I hope my explanation helps. Let us know if you have further concerns, and we’ll assist you very soon.
    Beeketing team.
