Authentication failed alert

  • Im doing malware cleaning in my website and Im using plugin String Locator to find specific text. Whenever I do the search, like 5-10 seconds after clicking search button, a warning shows “Authentication failed alert”.

    Does anyone know what is this about? Im logged in as Administrator by the way.

    Hiya,

    Does your site use any security plugins, front-end proxies (like CloudFlare, various models of WAF and similar), or custom protection on the wp-admin screen (I’m here thinking a pop-up requiring you to type in a username and/or password before you get to the login page it self)?

    Yes I do install iThemes. But Im already logged in as an Administrator. So I didnt understand what do you try to say..
