    Hi,
Is it possible to know how to translate the “Choose file” entries and “No file chosen” into another language?

  • Hello @xaviermi

    Hope you’re doing well!

Both strings are located in the plugin translation files and can’ be translated from there. Locate the forminator.pot translation file in /wp-content/plugins/forminator/languages/ directory.

To edit the file, please use a po editor application, for example, Poedit.

Translate the strings with this application and export .po and .mo files. Upload these files to /wp-content/languages/plugins/ and make sure to switch the WordPress language to the translated language.

For more information please see How to Translate a WordPress Plugin.

Another method is to use a translation plugin, for example, Loco Translate.

    Hope this helps!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

Is it possible to modify those entries from the plugin editor in wordpress?

    Hello @xaviermi,

    I hope you’re doing well!

I’m afraid it is not possible, these strings are located in the translation files, like forminator.pot. Besides, if the plugin’s core files will be modified, all changes will be lost after an update.

Have a good day and take care!

    Cheers,
    Nastia
