image link URL not working in slider

I am putting together product pages utilizing the Carousel from Mega Addons. I have a few product images on top and some content below as a description and link as well. The only way the link works is if I right click on the image and select open link in new tab. How can I make it so that the link is activated by a click on the image or text?
