template in child theme ?

Hello ! I tried to change some stuf in my child theme, I created a folder like in the plugin:
childetheme/tutor/templates/
and changed some files in it but it doesn’t work… and of course same file at the same place in the plugins/tutor/templates/ folder works..

is there something else to do ? or the folder in the theme should be with another name maybe ?
