• Hi
I find the translation of the changelog unnecessary. It’s a lot of work and hardly anyone uses it.

In addition, I have translated all to German, which is identical with German (Austria) and German (Switzerland, Informal). So that you can take over. Unfortunately, I don’t know how that works. There are certainly ambiguities, because the connection between the mere text isn’t always easy to recognize. ??

    Thanks Matthias

    Hi Matthias,

First off, thanks for doing that. That is a huge amount of work!

Regarding the changelog, I would guess the translation team would approve your translations without that being translated – it seems like too much to ask to update that on every release.

Regarding the other German options, that isn’t something I have control over here (in fact plugin developers have very little control over how the whole translation system works). If you are interested in becoming more involved with WordPress translation there is a PolyGlots team who you can find on slack in the #polyglots channel, and they may be interested to hear your suggestions also.

    Thanks again!
    Tom
