First time using Formidable Forms. Set up went great, received first test mail with no problem. Tried to reply and I’m replying to myself. Didn’t change any settings, so how do I reply to the sender without having to copy/paste? The documentation talks of autoresponders, which is not what I’m after.
I just want to click on reply and have it reply to the submitter.

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to us today. I am happy to help.

Step 7 of this guide shows how to configure a reply-to address for your email notification: https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/email-notifications/#kb-send-email-notifications-from-forms

This should allow you to reply directly to users who message you through your forms.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.

This is useless. This tells me how to reply to someone OTHER than the address the mail was sent from. I can’t reply to the address it was sent from to start with. My reply goes to the admin email. My address is the admin email. Why would I want to write to myself trying to reply to someone else’s query?

I downloaded WP Forms who reply to the sender by default. Can’t believe I had to go through 3 plugins to find a form that does that.

I do apologize if you found those instructions confusing – but I am glad you found a solution that works for you.
