• Only works on Chrome. Does not work on Opera and Firefox. I do not recommend using this plugin. (edit: I am talking about featured images)

  • Ozgur, only Chrome offers support to “lazyload” tags. This is not a standard yet. That is why the plug-in “only works on Chrome”.

The native attribute only works in Chrome, that is because no other browser supports it yet. However the fallback script from this plugin should also cater for other browsers. Can you provide me with some more context on what happened for you? Can you see any error messages being logged in your browser’s developer console?

@flixos90 Is this plugin AMP compatible?

@mddsharp It is, but note that it only makes sense for you if parts of your site are still not using AMP. If your site is AMP-first, this wouldn’t be necessary as AMP lazy-loads already by default.

However, long story short, it is compatible and shouldn’t hurt to have it.
