GD Image Library Problem

Hi

This message shows when the FooGallery thumbnail generation test fails. It can happen for a number of reasons, but the most common is when the file it is trying to generate a thumb from does not exist.

Goto FooGallery Settings –> Advanced tab and enable “Override Thumb Test” and save changes.

The message should stop showing, but if it does not then let me know

Can you goto FooGallery -> System Info and copy the data that shows and paste it here please

thanks for that – all looks in order. When you click the Run Tests from FooGallery Settings -> Images tab, when error does it give you?

Thumbnail Generation Alert!
There is a problem generating thumbnails for your gallery. Please check that your hosting provider has the GD Image Library extension installed and enabled.
If thumbnails cannot be generated, then full-sized, uncropped images will be used instead. This will result in slow page load times, and thumbnails that do not look correct.

No – not the error in the heading of the page.

When you click the Run Tests button on the setting page, it returns the exact error it had when trying to generate the thumbnail and it is displayed where the button was.

What is the error you get?

Why has this gallery page https://www.colinwallacephotography.co.uk/mainline-steam/ gone like it has?

Your page is loading mixed content due to your SSL certificate. The foogallery is not loading.

If you look at chrome dev tools you will see the mixed content errors.

It looks like a plugin or your host is no longer redirecting all content to HTTPS
