    hi. divi have just released an update which enables full editing of the single product page with the divi builder. their new Woo Tabs module is limited to the default woo tabs, and the Yikes custom tabs are not showing. could you have a look at this please?

    Hello @wheeleran,

    Divi is a premium theme, correct?

    We would need a copy of it for testing. Can you reach out to them and ask if they provide developer copies for plugin authors to test compatibility?

    Thank you,
    -Tracy

    Tracy,

    I am having the same issue. I can provide you a copy of the theme if you can fix this.

    Thank you,

    Dina

    Great news!

    Elegant Themes was nice enough to provide us with a copy for testing so subscribe to this thread for updates later!

    Cheers,

    @fmixell great!

    @wheeleran @brikchost,

    Unfortunately the divi builder is hard coding included tabs into the plugin itself in a file called tabs.php on line 285.

    // Skip if current tab is not included, based on include_tabs attribute value.
    if ( $active_tabs && ! in_array( $name, $active_tabs, true ) ) {
        continue;
    }

    If this block of code is removed all your tabs would display. However, that’s not a good idea because if you make changes to Divi your changes would get erased in an update. I’m going to bring this to the attention of the developers at Elegant themes to see if they can possibly code a work around!

    I’m going to close this issue because at this time no custom product tab plugin would be able to insert tabs into the the Divi Tab Module.

    thanks for this. i’m going to report it to divi as well, because this issue, and issues like it, will make the new divi update unusable for many people.

    @wheeleran I have reached out to the developer who gave me the plugin for testing but that being said after looking at their code its definitely possible so hopefully they update support to include custom tabs.

    @wheeleran @brikchost,

    I just got an email back from one of the developers at Elegant Themes are they’re working on making the custom tabs appear in their Tabs Module now!

    @fmixell @brikchost i was going through this with them in the last two days, so that’s great you’ve been able to confirm it!

    Hello @fmixell @wheeleran @liljimmi How are you?

    Sounds good that the divi theme developers are already solving the problem. But I’d like to know if you know how long they could take to find any solution for the problem. Ask for that becuase I’m developing a very important project with a custom tab design and my boss need it as soon as possible.

    Thanks

    Divi are releasing a big update on 17 October. Let’s see what’s in that.

    I have the same Problem. Want to be updated if it will work. As of now, it seems not to work.

    @debe13 @wheeleran @adavidbermeo @brikchost,

    Elegant Themes has reached back out to us and let us know Custom Product Tabs will be fully supported in the next version of Divi ??!

    @fmixell Wow thank you so much for your notification!!!
    Does anybody know, if they plan, to support shortcode within tabs?

    I requested it via Feature-Request. But some of you are closer to the dev-team.

    @fmixell great news, yes, depending on their definition of “next update.” We’re at 4.0.2 now after two small updates in the last two days, but they don’t post a changelog so there’s no effective way to know when it’s been done beyond, well, you know… Do you expect to get some sort of notification from them, or are we supposed to just check after each update? And can we get back to you if we find any subsequent issues if and when it is live?
