Turn off ‘/wp-login.php?action=register’ page but allow registration form

    I want to disable the WordPress register page ’/wp-login.php?action=register’?but still, allow users to register through a custom form on the site.

    Problem is when I uncheck ‘anyone can register’ setting it disables the registration globally everywhere. So users can no longer register through the custom registration form on the site.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • Hi Jordanvala,

    If I get you right, you don’t need to disable or enable the registration form, but you actually need to hide the wp registration page.

    You consider using two ways, first using a plugin and that will be much easier.

    or using .htaccess file.
