Problem with children on Pages

Hi, is there any way I can insert code or plugin into a page to display only the children of that page with a short description (it can pull the description from page description if it has to.
Eg. On my industry page I have 3 child pages (boat, auto, and aero).
I would like to make it so if I add another child it will automatically post the child with short description on the parent page.(this way I only need to create a child page and not have to update a parent. Thank for your help
