    Hi there,

    I have this strange situation:
I have created two different contact forms with CF7, the first one is for desktop and the second one is for mobile devices (simply, I have set up the two different shortcodes that show up one only for desktop and one only for mobile inside my page).

Well, the desktop one works perfectly and I can upload files correctly -> here is how I set it up in the CF7 design page, with limit up to 80Mb:

    [mfile foto limit:83886080 filetypes:jpeg|jpg|png|tiff|pdf max-file:5]

The issue comes out when I go in mobile layout and the “mobile” contact form shows up. When I try to upload even a single file with less than 1KB size, I have this error message:
“The uploaded file exceeds the maximum upload size of your server.”
But the settings in the CF7 design page are almost the same! I have just changed the name of the field (“foto” for the desktop one and “foto1” for the mobile one).

The settings for the mobile one are the following (limit up to 60Mb):

    [mfile foto1 limit:62914560 filetypes:jpeg|jpg|png|tiff|pdf max-file:5]

In other words, seems that in desktop it works properly but in mobile it doesn’t, and I can’t figure out the reason.

Any suggestion will be very appreciated!

    Thank you
    Rick

    Thank you for your reply!

    Little update:

I have just tried to show the contact form I’ve created for desktop layout also in mobile, and it works! So, maybe, could it be possible that you cannot have two multiple files upload created? Or maybe in the same page?

Let me know if could be this the issue.

You can actually have 2 or multiple contact form in one page, the issue in your end maybe the visual composer break the form or the second form for mobile configuration is incorrect.

But those are my thoughts, will let you know once there’s any update.

Can create a test page? so that I can check the issue.

    Hi Glen,

Thank you again for your quick reply!

I have already fixed my issue, even if is a kind of work-around! The reason why I have created two different contact forms was only for styling purposes, that I could simply adjust via CSS (and this is what I did few minutes ago), but I thought it was faster create two different contact forms, one for desktop and one for mobile!

Anyway, by now the issue is solved, simply because I have used the desktop contact form also in mobile, only adjusting style via CSS.

Thank you very much for your help,
Maybe we will get back in touch in the future!
