Switch membership level after payment

Hi,

Currently my site does not grant membership after account creation.
Once a account is created, the user will be redirected to a payment gateway, and redirect back to a page on my site once payment is completed.

The question is are there codes/plugins that enables that page to trigger/award a membership for the user who have paid and redirected to that specific page?
