Custom Post Types Support & Categories?

Does this plugin support custom post types?

What exactly do you mean? The plugin works wherever shortcodes are supported.

Yes, you can choose the category of posts in which the snippet will be triggered in the premium version.

I have a custom post type. when I load the plugin it doesnt give me an option to choose the custom post type. it only shows the default post type for wordpress.

Also as an example. I want to define rules for snippet inserts that post within a specific category or categories. Not all or nothing. Am I able to specify a category id that belongs to a specific post type and the snippet code is run for posts that are assigned to that category id?

Woody does not yet support Custom post and does not receive a list of taxonomies.

The plugin supports custom post types, you can configure this using conditional logic by selecting the Posts element, see screenshot.

In the new version 2.2.8, you can also select the taxonomy with which you want to display snippets. The current version also has this feature, but it has a bug. Therefore, the new version 2.2.8 is better suited for your purposes.

Unfortunately, you cannot display a snippet only for taxonomies of a certain post.
