Hello

is there an easy way to update players leagues and season for a new sportsyear?

it’s a pitty that the player archive (which league in which season) is not saved

Hi @bartvanbelle ,

You can use the Bulk Edit mode to add the new league and season to your players and teams.

The connection between Player, League and Season it is actually saved through the Statistics meta-box of each Player.

ok, but i can’t remove the league op previous season

so players will actually be shown in the league of last season and the league of the new season in player-lists

Well, lets say we have PlayerA, PlayerB, Team1 and Team2. PlayerA and PlayerB was playing for Team1 for 2018 at League1. For 2019 will be playing for Team2 at League2. If you add correct you relations for all your players and teams, then at your Player List of Team1 for League1 and season 2018 you will have both your players. At the Player List of Team2 for League2 and season 2019 you will have both players also. Is that wrong?

With SportsPress you can also track Mid-Season transfers ??

player clinckspoor sebastian played in league U5 last year and now in league U6

he’s is shown on both playerlists (that only show players from the current season)

i wouldn’t mind updating all player with the bulk edit function

but then the league and season of last year should be overwritten

It is a pretty small screenshot but if I understand correctly, you have not assign any team to those rows? If you do, then everything will be sorted out correctly ??

when i add sebastian

in 2018-2019 (league U5) to my club SC Jong Sint-Gillis

in 2019-2020 (league u6a) to my club jong sint-gillis

he still appears on the playerlist for U5 for 2019-2020

can i send you a login so you can check my setup?
