Uploaded a bunch of photos but they’re not connected to the post

I was going to add a new photo album so I uploading some new photos through the Media Library/From Computer. The photos were uploaded and I added some titles and captions and hit “Save changes”. Then it refreshed and just showed an empty gallery.

I tried inserting [gallery] into the post and saving it as a draft but the preview just came out empty – no thumbnails like I’m used to.

I can see the photos in the Media Library but I can’t see an easy way of adding them to the blog post – there are like 90 photos in this batch.

Is it possible that this happened because when I started uploading the photos it was before midnight but when I saved the changes to the photos it was after midnight? The photos are connected to the day before?

Is there any way I can easily add these photos to the blog post?
