The count on Facebook social media share button disappeared

Was there a recent update to the plugin you’re using to handle those Share buttons for the posts? Looking at the FB Debugger for the linked post:

It shows they haven’t scraped the URL before.

That’s weird because I’ve had a lot of shares from Facebook and I have no idea why it shows they haven’t scraped the URL. Especially when it comes to all my blog posts, that’s impossible…

I am not using a plugin but the sharing options on WordPress; I don’t know if it has been updated recently.

I see you’re using ShareDaddy which appears to be part of Jetpack, looks like it is an issue with HTTP/HTTPS

Did you recently make the switch over to HTTPS on your site? Looks like there may be some info here on how to recover the share numbers:

Though I’ve never done it myself and not familiar with that site so your mileage may vary.

Yes, I did switch to HTTPS some time ago. Thanks for the link! I’ve checked it but it seems a bit too complex to me. Anyways, thanks for your help.
