    Hello,

    I have a strange issue. I have the latest WooCommerce and Klarna version. Normally it is working correctly, but some Klarna Orders are not working.

    For example yesterday there was the second order, which was correctly placed into WooCommerce, but i dont see any Transaktion in my Klarna Backend and also the order status is not “In progress”. The status is still “Waiting for payment”.

    The last time it happened i told the customer to reorder again … and it was working.

    How can this happen? Maybe it happens when the customer took too much time to click on “Buy now” and then the Klarna session is not valid anymore?

    Most of the orders are made with mobile device. Maybe thats also a problem.

    Please note: this issue is related to Klarna Payments, not Klarna Checkout.

    @klarna Thank you. But it is very strange that another customer was able to order again with the same data … and it was working.

    When the oder was declined by Klarna … why is it possible for the user to complete the WooCommerce order? This is strange … the user should see a hint “You cannot pay via Klarna, please choose another payment method”.

    @evoteqdigital – I can’t provide details of the complex Klarna logic regarding customer approvals or denials. When a customer is denied, they would see a modal error message, i.e. “Sorry, we aren’t able to approve your purchase. Please choose a different payment method.” (which can be tested using a +denied email address per https://developers.klarna.com/documentation/testing-environment/)

    With KP v1.8.0+, the customer order is now first created in WooCommerce in a ‘Pending Payment’ status when the customer clicks the Place Order button and the order passes Woo validation. This order is a valid Woo order but has not yet been paid for and should not be processed. Then the order is attempted to be placed in the Klarna system. If the Klarna order is successful, the Woo order is then updated to ‘Processing’ status. If the Klarna order is not successful, the Woo order stays in ‘Pending Payment’ status, and depending upon store configuration, may later be auto-cancelled after the configured time delay.
