• Hello

I have a problem with reusable blocks. Recently the Manage reusable blocks page doesn’t show my list of blocks. It does show, at the top of the window, that I have 28 published, 2 drafts and 1 trashed block, but the list is blank regardless which option I select.

If I am writing a new post and try to add an existing reusable block, the block pull down menu doesn’t show the Reusable Blocks option. If I edit a post or page that has a reusable block, the Blocks menu shows only the blocks that are present in that page or post.

I really like using these and it is one of the best new features of this release. Please let me know when this is fixed or how to fix it.

what steps have you tried to troubleshoot issue?
i checked on one of my sites running WP 5.2.2 — and saw the section with my reusable block available.
have you tried deactivating plugins to check for any conflict?

    Hi Lisa

Yes, I have tried disabling plugins, different browsers, and I installed a plugin named “Fabrica Reusable Block Instances” that provides a menu item off the main dashboard and I still don’t see them. I added this plugin after this issue happened, in hopes that having a menu item off of the dashboard/main menu would display my list of blocks. I enabled and disabled this plugin too with no change. I am running the Tempera theme but I have not tried changing it.
The site is running JetPack which I have enabled and disable options in but not the plugin with no help. I am at WordPress 5.2.2 hosted through Go Daddy.

    I hope this is helpful

    Thanks

    have you tried:
install health check plugin which can be used in troubleshooting mode to deactivate all plugins and theme
might help narrow down the source of the issue

    Hi Lisa

That’s a great plugin thank you. It appears that I have a few errors with my site. Regarding the Reusable Blocks issue, AMP seems to be the one plugin that when disabled allowed me to see the missing and now available, Reusable Blocks. I will go through the rest of the plugins to be sure.

I also found using the Health Check plugin, that my site failed the Loopback requests which is shown under the critical issues. I have idea how to resolve that.
