layout not showing as designed

  • I am in desperate need of help in Twenty Seventeen’s page layout.
    I designed using columns on a full layout template but once the page was selected as the Homepage in Customizing Setting they automatically changed to a full vertical design.
    Will be grateful for a solution. Thank you.
