Plugin unable to authenticate

    When clicking on the ‘CLICK HERE TO CONNECT WITH MY GOTOWEBINAR APPLICATION’ button the page redirects to goto webinar page where I click on allow but after that, there is no confirmation whether the authentication was successful or not.

    On trying out the shortcodes the [gotowebinar] shortcode gives the following error even if we have a pro GotoWebinar account: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_0vb2vAT8T7JZH11qR35A2j5dBw_JjQl/view?usp=sharing

    Please look into this and help

    Hi @sumugh,

    You said the button says “CLICK HERE TO CONNECT WITH MY GOTOWEBINAR APPLICATION” but in your diagnostic information it says you are using our official application. If you are using our application, make sure the first 2 settings on the general tab where you enter your application details are blank. Then save the settings and refresh the page and then click the button. The button text should be different to what you described and it should work.

    You have a subscription with GoToWebinar yes?

    Hi @northernbeacheswebsites,

    Thanks for the suggestion, the issues were due to a conflict with our theme ‘JOYN’.
    Disabling the theme and authenticating seemed to have solved the problem and the shortcodes are working as intended now.
