How can admin delete a registration

Just select the line and in “Bulk actions” select the action you want.

There isn’t a DELETE function in there!

There is clearly an action called “Deny booking (and move to trash)”. It even allows to send (or not) the deny mail to the person that did the booking.
It is a reservation system, just plainly deleting a booking is just not done. Also, if it happened on accident and the person decides he wants it back, the trash allows to retrieve it again.

It says “Deny registration”. Deny makes it sound like your saying to them “forget you….we don’t want your registration.” And if someone is looking for the keyword “delete” they may not think to try “deny”.

I don’t care how you do this on the back end…. My experience with your plugin over the last couple of days is that its not user friendly. I had to pull in a 2nd plugin to handle payments because your payment system wasn’t easy to use and because it wouldn’t support the business rules I was working in. Simple stuff like how you word functions in the dashboard makes a HUGE difference in how easy your plugin is to use.

Sometimes I’m still strugling to find the correct wording, but simple “delete” doesn’t cover it either, that’s why I added the “move to trash” part.
I try to make the plugin as flexible as can be (even the payment part can do just about anything, it is used for schools, theaters, club memberships etc …). Since I don’t know your business rules, I can’t tell for sure, but most of the times it just takes a fresh pair of eyes to match EME to them.

is this another way of cancelling a booking? Would that be a better terminology?

Well, currently I’m using ‘cancel’ for the user itself (if the person doing the booking wants to cancel it).

Just call it Delete. That way people with tunnel vision that are looking for delete can find it. The functionality behind delete probably doesn’t need to be different than what you already have.

The next version will have this change in nomenclature (and more).
