• Hello,

I’ve been using wordpress on my server for about 4 months now, and it was great at first, however I’ve noticed numerous problems as time went by.

    1. I cannot click & drag my widgets. I click them, and nothing happens. There has been 3 versions of wordpress out since I’ve noticed this error, and the issue is STILL not fixed, even AFTER I posted a separate topic the day the problem began

    2. In comments, I am able to approve, etc, but once I do a quick edit and submit the revised comment, it will not allow me to re-quick edit another post, NOR will it allow me to approve, etc, unless I refresh the page.

Those are the only things I can think of as of now, but I’m sure there are more issues.

  • In such a case, I guess the best option is, simply, to reupload the contents of wordpress’ latest zip to your webspace, overwriting the older files (except the htaccess and the wp-config files).

Unless you manually edited these files (and you’re the best person to know), this is a safe operation.
And I have a strong suspicion this will sove things for you ??

(backup your files and database beforehand, of course)

    Hi,
I’ve also the same problem as mentioned by A-Bot.
Not only can’t I get my widgets to move, drop down or any other function, all my “drop downs” on all my pages like Help, Screen Options, The entire left side menus are not dropping down after clicking the little arrow.

I’ve already re-installed the latest WP both from a zip and uploaded “new” WP download, which are the latest versions.

Would appreciate any help possible as I’m unable to add stuff to my site.

    Cheers,
    Steven J.

stevenjram, make sure that you have javascript enabled on your browser.

Disable your plugins and see if the problem persists.

Would also be worth noting which web browser you’re using for others to compare against.
