The plugin sends contact details on only one event during the order process and not multiple events. The contact information is sent to ActiveCampaign on the Subscribe Event that you select from the dropdown list box. The choices are Created, Completed or Processing. If the order status is any of the others (i.e. On Hold/Cancelled/Failed), the plugin does not send any details.

I’m not sure that tagging is the best approach for your purposes. For example, Contact A makes a purchase today and wants to pay via Bank Transfer. Contact A would be tagged On Hold. Two days later that same Contact A, makes another purchase but the purchase is made via a credit card. Contact A would be tagged Complete. Now Contact A has two tags – On Hold and Complete.

The contact would then get a reminder email for all the products they purchased because the On Hold tag exists.

We can set automations on ACticevampaign.

Send mail until TAG purchase is received. If received stop automation.

As long we can tag each customer per produc purchased, everything is ok ??

Just to be able to tag by status because otherqwise i think we need to send reminders from woocommerce not AC.

But in the example I gave you – the same customer made two different purchases using two different methods. The On Hold reminders would stop once the Complete tag was sent but it was for the second order and you still have not gotten the bank transfer.

If the person want to buy two times, what you say make sense.

But we have digital products. The buyers would not make two purchsase for the same course. So we dont have a case where the buyer, after making the payment by card would need to pay with bank transfer.

Even with phisical products the situations in which a buyer would buy same product twice are so rare that we dont need to take care this aspect.

So if you can make to add a tag by order status that would be awesome and help a lot of digital marketers like us ??

So, the tag you would require is not just the order status as a tag but the Product ID combined with order status. Is that correct?

Yes, something like [Product name] – [status]
