• Hello, after updating both woocommerce plug in, and Ocean wp Simple theme, I have error messages. I can’t remember (and can’t find) the error message that appeared after the theme update, but it was something with MySQL heather…
    The message from woocommerce:
“Your theme (OceanWP) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce.”

As a result, I have now different “add to cart ” buttons on my home page, and in the product categories pages. Different types, shapes, and colors. Homa page-as it was before but when I go to products-category – they are new and different

Please tell me how to fix this?

    Hello,

so do you think that this file mini-cart.php can lead to my problem? That it changes the style of the buttons only on some pages ? I will send you screenshots to show you what I mean. On the first image you can see how my “add to cart ” button normaly looks – on all pages. After the both updates – the products in the Home page was looking like the should, but whe I go form the main menu and choose Products – then one of my product category – the button looks like the second picture, and a “sale” badge was added from alone on the upper left of the product image.

Update: so after many, many attempts with different ideas I have rolled back the woocommerce plugin to 3.6.5 it has returned this message:

Warning: mysqli_query(): MySQL server has gone away in /home/u634909595/domains/coolstufflife.com/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 2007
Warning: mysqli_query(): Error reading result set’s header in /home/u634909595/domains/coolstufflife.com/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 2007

but the problem with the different button looks like it is solved now!

But what does this mean? I want to be up to date with the latest plugins…

For button issue, I saw the same button style on your home and category page. Also, I didn’t see the sale badge.
I replied to your ticket on oceanwp.org. Please communicate in one place for the same issue.

The reason why I have communicated on both forum and email is beqause I didnt know from where I would receive help. In the forum are a lot of people , not only the support and someone could have a solution. Like I said in the email and here – I have rolled back the plugin version so that my page will look normal again – witch can be only temporary fix. If you somehow don’t believe me and think that I am making this up for some reason, you can look here- where the people have tried to help and saw my page – https://www.facebook.com/groups/OceanWP/permalink/2478897082199763/

I am not trying to blame the theme or the support! I am very happy with the theme so far. I am just looking for solution!

I know this issue and believe you. Don’t worry about it. Please wait for the theme update to fix it.
