Remove vertical gradient in Theme Slider widget

I need to remove the vertical grey gradient in the Elementor A13 Theme Slider widget, but can’t find any setting to do this. The gradient is showing through the slides which is not what I want. I thought the CSS to change in my child theme style.css would be:
.a13-slider.gradient a.slide::after{
but that does change anything.
