Documentation? Video Tutorials?

  • This looks like a very robust plugin, which likely does what I want in theory (allow an editor to upload a specific file type (PDF) to a specific folder and list out the contents on a public-facing page). However, I copied and placed the video tutorial tag [fileaway_tutorials showto=”admiistrator,editor”] in a page and get nothing but a blank page (by the way “admiistrator” is spelled wrong in the documentation) so I changed it to [fileaway_tutorials showto=”Administrator”]. As the administrator of the wordpress install, I see nothing. In the plugin settings I granted access to both administrators and editors. What am I doing wrong?

    Did you try all lower case “administrator” ?

    “Administrator” is not the actual role name, but rather its label.

    There are also text tutorials for every short code attribute in the tutorials tab of the File Away settings page.

    I did try [fileaway_tutorials showto=”administrator”] as well. Who knows, maybe it’s my browser. I’ll keep searching. Thnx!
