Could this show if each different business location (many with slightly different opening hours) is open at the time a user visits the website?

I’m looking for something that would work like the Google Business listings that show “open”, “closed” or “closing soon”, for each location listed on the website.

    Cheers.

    Hi @idearius,
you can add multiple sets of opening hours for multiple locations. You can then select per widget / shortcode, which set of opening hours you want to refer to.

You can refer to the Getting Started Guide in the plugin documentation:

    Seems perfect. Thanks ??

Where would the widget take the current user’s time from? The browser or the server?

The current time is determined on the server, according to the timezone setting you have made in WordPress under Settings > General

Sorry, but I’m a bit lost here. There’s the user’s current time and the website’s current time, and they may not be the same.

What about an online user based in New York visiting the website of a business based in Berlin (with WordPress well configured to use the Berlin time-zone).

Would the plugin account for the big time-zone difference between them and provide the correct open/close current status to the user? Would the user be able to call the business when there’s actually someone to pick up the phone?

All users around the world will see the open message *when the venue is actually open in Berlin*. So when the shop in Berlin is open from 13:00 to 14:00 the user in New York would see the open message from 07:00 to 08:00 NY time. So when the NY person calls you at 07:00 (in their local time) it will be 13:00 in Berlin and someone would be present in the shop.

Great! It’s just what I needed.

    Best.
