    Hi,
Yes. This is even preferable way of using the plugin. I assume that you enabled the plugin – if yes, then on your post edit page, you can just ‘enable’ plugin Text-To-Speech functionality (assuming that you enabled it in plugin configuration page). If for specific post Text-To-Speech functionality is already enabled – if you update the post, audio will be generated again out of the box.

    Cheers,
    Tomasz

    Hi Tomasz

Thank you for getting back to me. All of my posts are using Amazon AI and when I save the article the first time, the audio is generated. However, if I make a change in the post and update it (save it) then new audio is not generated automatically. I have tried waiting for hours and overnight. Still the old audio. :-/
Is there a small trick or hack to force a single article to generate the audio?

The only way for me to make it work right now is to use the bulk update option.

    Hi,
This is really strange. One more question: Are you using CloudFront/CDN functionality? (Probably not, but I wan’t to make sure). Also – did you try to see if there are some errors/more info in WordPress logs file? It might be helpful.

    Cheers,
    Tomasz

    Hello Tomasz,

Thank you for for this wonderful plugin.

We installed it on one of our WP site. However new posts that are being created programmatically are not showing the text-to-speech on the frontend until we manually click on Edit Post and then press Update even though there is no change being done to the post. Once we do that, the TTS is showing on the frontend. Why is this happening so? Our understanding is that once we have enabled the plugin then all new posts should automatically have TTS showing on the frontend instead of us requiring to get into each just to press Update to show it. Is there any fix for this?

Would appreciate your quick revert on this.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Divyan

    Hi,
Just to confirm. The UI element for enabling text-to-speech is not being shown at all on the page? Or is it just not selected? I have to say that I haven’t seen this kind of thing before. Did you check in logs if there are some errors?

    Thanks,
    Tomasz

I am still having this problem. Bulk update works but as I am getting more articles this will take a LOT of time and cost me unnecessarily as I update a lot of articles that do not need to be updated.

Could it be possible to add a “force update” on the article edit page? Just saving does not create any audio or update the old version for me. only bulk does.

Log looks ok, but the article is still not updating.

Does it log a specific line when the generation finishes?
