My WP-site and WP admin panel went down today. Error message: The site is experiencing technical difficulties.

I have a WP auto update plugin and could see that WP Translate was auto-updated today in my C-Panel’s file manager plugin folder ‘Last Modified column. I simply disabled the plugin by renaming it to wp-translateOFF in my file manager as I could not access the admin panel.

So I think the latest version contains a bug or causes a conflict.

    Hi,

I have not been able to reproduce this error. Please let me know what versions of WordPress and PHP your site is running on. Also, if you have the error log it would help me troubleshoot as well.

    Thanks!

Hi @hahncgdev and thank you for providing us with a free version of your plugin.

    • 5.2.7 also crashed my site yesterday – had to delete the plugin
    • this issue was also reported by others in the “review” section, yesterday
    • Today, I tested 5.2.8 and as it works (with php 7.3) I am back to using your plugin again ??
    • as you know, many of WP users set/rely on automatic updates. meaning it would be great if you could please fully test your newer versions to ensure they will fully work for all WP sites, prior releasing them…

    Cheers,

Thanks! The WP Translate 5.2.8 update works with WordPress 5.2.2 running Twenty Fifteen theme and PHP version: 7.3.
