Comments are closed with disable comment in single post ?

    Hello,

    The last update show “comments are closed” in single post, with uncheck “Comments” in theme setting “Post Meta On Single:”

    I don’t understand why ? (if “comments” is checked, I understand!)

    I prefer the precedent version, now I have a child theme, just for this ??

    Hi @ventair,

    Themes on www.remarpro.com are required to display the “Comments are closed” message on posts where comments are closed. Older versions of Koji had a bug where the message wasn’t displayed in some cases.

    You can always hide the message in the “Additional CSS” field in the Customizer.

    I understand the rule, but it’s stupid with a good theme with an option to hide comment…

    Yet WordPress is not KISS ??

    Thanks again for the work done on the themes

    PS, I prefer child theme to additional CSS…
