If you go to Job Listings -> Settings -> Job Submission in your dashboard, there should be an option there called “Account Role” that allows you to select which role users get when they submit a job and create an account. What does it say there for you? It normally should say Employer.

    > Also, As Admin I cannot see listings in Dashboard… so I cannot edit or add new ones.

Do you mean, on the Jobs Dashboard? If so, that’s normal; you can’t see the jobs that others created. We do have this related feature request open, but there’s no movement on it yet from our developers:

    https://github.com/Automattic/WP-Job-Manager/issues/1609

You can edit submitted listings from wp-admin, and you can submit new ones from the front-end of the site, wherever you used the [submit_job_form] shortcode.

Or, do you mean, in wp-admin, you can’t see the listings when you go to Job Listings -> All Jobs ?

    Hi Richard,

    Thanks for your response.

    1. No Employee role appears in the list in Job Submission options.

    2. No, in wp-admin, I can’t see the listings when I go to Job Listings -> All Jobs… Actually, this options is not displaying for any admin user in website, Just Settings and Addons. So, if any user create a listing, as Admin I can see it and approved.

    3. Those are the only roles that I have in my website with WP Job Manager plugin installed and activated.

Any idea about what’s happening here?

I had work with Listify and WP Job Manager before and this never happen.

I appreciate any help you can give me.
    Thanks,

    Best Regards,

    Ana.

All these issues are almost certainly being caused by another plugin, or your theme.

Try disabling all of your plugins except WP Job Manager (and add-ons). Then try testing again to see if the issue persists. If that resolves your issue, you can find what was causing it by enabling each plugin one by one while continuing to test.

If that doesn’t help, you can also try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme via Appearance > Themes, and test again. If the issue is resolved then you know it’s a problem with the theme, and you’ll need to contact the theme author for further assistance.

Let me know what you turn up!

    Hi Richard,

After disabling all plugins except WP Job Manager, Contact Listing for WP Job Manager and Regions for WP J M. nothing changes.

Then I try switching to Twenty Sixteen theme and nothing happens.

So, at the end, I uninstalled WP Job Manager plugin, deleting all the data of the plugin and then I re-installed it from www.remarpro.com (Plugins > Add new)… Now I have Employer role user and all the options for Job Listings are visible now in Dashboard.

First time, I used the guide installation of Listify theme, maybe it’s an issue related to this.

    Thanks for all the help.

    Best Regards,
    Ana.
