    Hi there,

I was wondering if there is a way to make it so the logged in booking forum is exactly the same as the logged out. (Therefore if they enter a name and email address while they are logged in, this does NOT edit their profile)

    Thank you

  • Hello,

Sorry but I’m currently confused with what you mean? I’m confused with the part of “logged in booking forum” are you perhaps referring to “logged in booking form”?

I would basically want to make it so that Logged in users and logged out users see the same form when booking an event. And that NO accounts are changed in any way when they registered.

(I would like for members to be able to book events for their guests while logged in if they like )

at the moment the option to show user fields such as email address even when you are logged-in is only available with EMpro

And that NO accounts are changed in any way when they registered.

When a logged-in member places a booking and changes the email address using the EM Pro booking form, that DOES change in their WP profile as well. You cannot have a logged-in user place a guest booking.

It simply is an “either/or” option:
Either the user is logged in and places a booking under their own account OR they place it as a non-logged in guest.

The Pro booking form allows you to show/not show the registered profile fields and make them yes/no editable. Any edit submitted is always processed in their profile, though.

    In addition:
Only the Offline Gateway (again, EM Pro) allows the admin to enter a manual booking in the back-end for either another registered user or a guest. That is not a front-end option.
