    Hello,

This issue started off with just trying to optimize my site. I had edited/resized my logo to make smaller, re-uploaded it and now I am getting one size on my homepage and my other pages are getting a different size and seem an old image file. All within the same header. The other odd part is the logo links to a deleted file no longer in my media or in my file manager folder for uploads. I have tried deleting all logos and files for the logo, re-uploading and renaming the new file and that only makes the logo disappear from the homepage. I have also tried a new image, but it only changes the subpages, not the homepage and mobile still shows the old image? This issue has me stumped since I am not sure what else to try. Thank you for any help and/or guidance.

  • Hello,

Try to upload a new logo after renaming it from the Customize > Header > Logo section. Upload both the regular logo and retina logo.
For the mobile logo, go to Customize > header > mobile section and upload a logo from there. Clear cache and check it works or not.

    Hello Amit,

As originally mentioned I have tried everything you have mentioned…several times. I have even tried deleting the logo file from everywhere on my site, even in the Yoast SEO Schema. When all is deleted and the cache is cleared, the logo goes away, but my site name in text is there but transparent unless hovered over. When I reupload an image (any image), the homepage will not display an image and all my other pages display my sites original image??

    Update –

I have gone in and tried Amit’s suggestion again. I removed all logos from the customizer, published, deleted all cache and exited customizer. I then went back in and added this logo –
https://famsource.com/staging/6186/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Famsource-Header-Logo.png – if I inspect the logo after uploading and exiting the customizer plus deleting cache, I am seeing different logo files on different pages. ex: home page has one logo file while the blog page is pulling a different one. Mobile also pulls something else. Can someone please help with this?? It seems like something in the code is confused. As I am not a coder, this is very difficult to figure out. I really like the Oceanwp Theme and would really like to resolve this so I can move forward.
*note- I have left my staging site as described above. https://famsource.com/staging/6186/

I had this happen to me once. It’s somewhere in these threads. I will try to find it.

This has only happened once to me on the dozen or so sites I am using OceanWP. Here are the steps I did to fix it.

I set a mobile logo. No change.
I then set the Retina Logo and I got the correct logo displayed.
I removed Retina Logo – still showing ok
I removed the mobile logo and all is still ok.

So that appeared to fix it.

Hope this works for you too

@twgerber Thank you for your response. I just followed your steps and have ended up with an even different result then above? It is still pulling a different logo then I am loading into the customizer. I have left the site as-is from following your steps if looking at the code of what happened helps.

Update – Logo seems to be working on all subpages and mobile, but the homepage shows no logo??

Another update – So my staging site is showing the logo everywhere except the homepage? When I go into the customizer the logo doesn’t show anywhere in the preview? Can someone please help with this??

@famsource edit the homepage > oceanwp settings metabox > header tab and upload/remove logo from there. Check it helps or not.

@apprimit !!! Success !!! I had never even thought about trying that way. I just thought it was all the same since it was the same Theme settings. Thank you very much for your continued help in solving this frustrating issue.

    You’re welcome!
