Remove/hide events tab for specific user role

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to remove the “events” tab for a specific user role. So this role won′t have access to create/display any events, but can see the events from other users with different roles. Don′t mind using a function but couldn′t find the way until now.

I thought this would work with the roles settings but tab still displays.
