Hello, just bought the plugin today, thank you.
What is the reason behind the fact that we can’t create a revision of a post which is in daft mode? Could it be changed?
We need to create a revision of posts which are yet to be published.
    Thank you.

Hi @louis148 The purpose of Revisionize is to work on a revision of a _Published_ post without changing its URL. That being said it seems like it is possible to create Revisions of Drafts (had never tried that before). However, when you publish the revisionized draft it seems to work as expected but then promotes the status of the original post to “Published”.

Is this the problem you’re having? So what you’re looking for is that when you “publish” a revision, it just copies itself into the original, but maintains the Draft status of the original?

    Thank you for the answer.

On the list of pages, when I hover on a draft, I do not see the “revisionize” link. It only appears for published posts.

We do need to create a revision of a post that has never been published before. That’s because we need to let a third party work on the draft, and then review it before the first publication.

I did not notice that accepting a revision publishes the original post, but that is going to be an issue too yes.

    Thank you

Revisionize might not be the best plugin for your use case. It’s meant for published/live posts/pages. Which version do you have? Or what user are you logged in with? Perhaps you don’t have permissions to revisionize (draft or published) at all? I’m able to revisionize a draft as an Admin.

My developers say they found a way to revisionize a draft and that the publishing thing is not going to be an issue. I close this ticket. Thank you very much.
