How do I integrate staging site updates with live site updates?

    I update my website with new content everyday, I use a staging site to have freelancers carry out functionality and design changes. The changes can take freelancers weeks to complete. I can’t continue to update my live site during this time because when I migrate the staging site back to the live site I end up back at the point I created the staging site at. I want to be able to continue updating my live site then migrate the staging site back without losing the changes I make to the live site. Is this in any way possible?

    Hi @kyleberryman,

    this is not possible automatically as WP Staging does not know what you want to keep on the live site and what do you want to update, especially when you did changes on production and development site on the same content.

    The best solution is to export all the new content like posts and pages from the live site and then import it again to the staging site just before you are going to migrate the staging site to live.

    You can use the internal WordPress export/import function to do so.
