Problem uploading file to import Sorry, this file type is not permitted

I reverted back to the old version until it gets fixed. Uploaded it through Cpanel.

Problem is not from the plugin. Old versions use their own way to upload files but this is not sure. So we have adapted our plugin to the way it should be done (using WordPress API functions) to make it sure.

Please update your WordPress to the last version (there were a buggy version about it some versions ago) and if it does not fix the problem, check your file upload restrictions.

I have the same problem and I am running the latest WP. How do I change upload restrictions?

Are your WordPress version completely updated?

Some version ago there were a restriction for CSV files.

Maybe some security plugin? This plugin does not filter any CSV file as you can suppose.

its an easy fix.
Make sure you are running latest WordPress.
Deactived all plugins except this plugins.
Try importing the CSV files again.

Updating plugin to the version 1.14.3.2 has solved the problem.
