The CSS selectors available do not make it possible, if you’re trying to style the monthly view, to distinguish between ‘today’ and ‘first event next month’. Both containers carry the exact same classes: class=”mec-calendar-day mec-selected-day”

I need to be able to style these two kinds of dates differently.

Also, I would love to have a category selector on each event (a tag) that allows me to show the events in different colors depending on category.

The site is on a local server, and I don’t see how to share a screenshot (suggestions?).

However, I was quite clear on the class name used to hilite both ‘today’s date’ and the first event of each month. Here is the dt for today’s date with mec-selected-day class:

    <dt class="mec-calendar-day mec-selected-day" data-mec-cell="20190706" data-day="6" data-month="201907">6</dt>

The exact same mec-selected-day class is used to hilite the first event of other months.

My contention is that a different class should be used for ‘today’ than for other hilited days, so that ‘today’ can have a unique appearance.

Please do not mark support item resolved without an actual resolution.

    Hello @raygulick,

Unfortunately, this is not possible. You need to customize MEC to have this option, and I believe it takes a great portion of the time.

Thanks. I will be adding my review of the calendar now. It will not be a ‘5’.
