    Hello,

I run a non-profit site that sells physical goods and also allows users to attach a donation to their order.

I want to use this plugin, but in testing it doesn’t discern between the donation and physical products and therefore anyone donating will be paying too much shipping.

If someone wants to just donate, they should not be charged shipping.

The donation product is marked as “virtual” and “shipping not required” and this still happens.

    What can I do?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

This solution is available in the Flexible Shipping PRO plugin version, with the use of shipping classes.

In this case, you can assign non-virtual products to shipping classes in shipping method rules. Virtual products will not be taken into account when calculating the shipping price (they can not be assigned to shipping classes, it’s WooCommerce restriction).
