Woocommerce make me capable of showing small business catalog online

Thanks, woocommerce for the great initiative to develop such a good plugin through which I can host my small business online.
Woocommerce is great in basic but its plugin makes it perfect for hosting complex e-commerce store with different requirements.
Where woocommerce hindering behind is in the performance aspect. I don’t blame php for this. I think that wordpress admin is very old styled coded dashboard with minimum use of javascript and ajax which will improve the dashboard performance.
